1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. Websites use them for two honest reasons (keeping you signed in, remembering preferences) and one less-honest one (tracking you across the web to sell ads). We only do the first kind.
2. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These make the site work. Without them the contact form and session behaviour would break. They’re set whether you consent or not because the site can’t function without them.
- PHPSESSID — standard PHP session cookie. Expires when you close your browser.
- anco_consent — remembers your cookie-preference choice so we don’t re-ask. Expires after 12 months.
Analytics
We don’t run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, or any third-party tracking on this site. If we ever add server-side analytics (like Plausible or self-hosted Matomo), we’ll list it here first.
Advertising & tracking
None. We don’t advertise, we don’t retarget you across the web, and we don’t sell or share your browsing data. If that changes, this page changes first.
3. Third-party services on this site
A few third-party services may set cookies or receive data when you interact with them:
- Stripe — if you pay us for a package, Stripe’s checkout is used. Stripe sets its own cookies for fraud prevention (see stripe.com/cookies-policy/legal).
- Google Fonts — typefaces are served from fonts.googleapis.com. Google may log your IP when the request is made. No cookies are set for font loading.
4. How to control cookies
You have three ways to control cookies on this site:
- Browser settings — every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking the strictly-necessary ones will break the contact form and session behaviour, but the rest of the site will still work.
- “Do Not Track” signal — if your browser sends DNT, we honour it: no analytics, no non-essential cookies, no third-party pings.
- Email us — if you want us to purge any cookie-linked data we hold about you, email hello@ancodigitalservices.com.
5. Your rights under GDPR & CCPA
If you’re in the EU/EEA, UK, or California, you have the right to know what we hold, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to object to how we use it. Because we don’t run tracking cookies, the “correct/delete” scope on this site is essentially the contact form submissions you’ve sent us. 6. Changes to this policy
If we add analytics or any new third-party service that sets cookies, we’ll update this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top. We don’t email everyone when we change it — but material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 30 days.
